It all began when a customer came to the travel agency in Germany owned by our Managing Director. He wanted to cancel his booking because his daughter could not travel any more. He said his 15 year old daughter collapsed in the school and since 5 months no doctor could tell why she collapsed and can not walk.
As he was a regular customer and brought good business, our MD wanted to help him out. He knew the best of the ayurveda doctors in Kerala since 20 years. After a week of enquiries, and spending a few Euros, Dr. Sri Krishna BAMS MD (Dhanwanthri Ayur Bhavan) agreed to treat her in his clinic. Both the parents and her brother accompanied her to his small Clinic in Kerala. At first her father was not happy with the facilities at the clinic but was ready to adjust if his daughter got help.
The doctor promised them that she would be able to walk after a week and said it is a usual case for him. They were surprised at his remark. They just laughed. On the 5th day the daughter said she can feel her legs and tried to stand up. Yes, it happened, she started walking.
This was in July 2004. On returning without the wheel chair, her father asked our MD to open up this hidden information to the world. That was the challenge which made him to invest his time and money to create this portal. Anyone who wants to ascertain this is welcome to see the photos of the girl going to the clinic in wheel chair, undergoing the treatment and then walking through the gardens of the clinic on the 10th day.
If Ayurveda could help the girl to get out of her wheel chair, enjoy her youth and go to school on bicycles instead on wheel chair, then Ayurveda can help others also. It is only a matter of information where you get such treatments. It has has helped many, it has helped the German medical insurance company to save a lot of medical expenses.
